Childrens Programming

We at Michigan Mayfest are delighted to witness the joy and curiosity that only children are capable of. We want to encourage that with exciting, fun and educational children's programming so we are pleased to offer story telling from Barefoot Books, exciting and empowering workshops with Robin Marvel and a Maypole dance and ritual just for the kids! Be sure to make your masks and floral wreathes early so they're ready for the dance at 3pm.

Moms and dads, bring your cameras! You won't want to miss this!

If your little one gets bored or fussy, settle in to our quiet time corner with a good book or some coloring to help take the edge off. Each one of our little guests will receive a special coloring and activity book made just for the festival!

 Come join our original drumming circle. This workshop allows you the opportunity to make your own drum as well as learn the origins from which drumming circles originate.  You will also participate in a drumming circle
