We'll trace the history of Pan from his humble beginnings in the mountains of Arcadia to his rise into the pantheon of the ancient Greeks to his re-emergence in the 19th century. We'll explore how Pan was worshipped and perceived in the ancient world and why he might be even more important today.

Finding The River Goddess
Since 1995, Shining Lakes Grove has honored Ana, the goddess of the Huron River, during our public High Day rituals and our private workings. The Rev. Rob Henderson will share SLG's experiences of researching the ancient customs of honoring river goddesses, our magical workings to contact her, and our continuing relationship with her.
Interested in doing a workshop at the 2010 Pagan Michigan Mayfest? We have very limited space for workshops on our roster and preference will be given to those who are also vending or performing at the festival. Please note that we will not be paying for any workshops and that we cannot accommodate workshops that involve the use of ritual blades. If you're still interested, please fill out our workshop proposal form!
